The book Captain Underpants by Dav Pilkey is a good book if you like humorous fiction books. I liked this book because the main characters George and Harold are always getting into trouble and one time their trouble created a superhero that only wears underpants and a cape but they accidentally let him loose! Read Captain Underpants to find out whether George and Harold find Captain Underpants and keep him a secret or he goes out fighting crime and becomes a laughing stock. I would recommend this book if you like funny stuff. I think the main characters made the right decisions because if they did not make a superhero the world would be vulnerable to villains. The book The 13-Storey Treehouse is an awesome book that you should totally read. From flying cats to giant gorillas this book has it all. This book is a graphic novel and the author is ANDY GRIFFITHS illustrated by TERRY DENTON. This book is about two kids named Terry and Andy and they live in a 13 storey treehouse with all sorts of surprises. Each storey has different thinks like a bowling alley or a man eating shark tank. The 13 Storey Treehouse is a good book to help with your imagination. Also they like to make books, one draws the other one writes. They also have an invention room where crazy things happen. I liked how creative it was. Definitely read The 13 Storey Treehouse this summer you will enjoy it all the way through! Recommended by J.Nu. I am reading the book ‘’Frazzled’’ book 3. The author and illustrator of the book is Booki Vivat. This book is a humorous fiction book. The main character is Abbie. It is her first year in middle school and she has a ton of problems. Abbie’s friends are Maxine, Logan and Jess. They stick together and help each other and solve problems. Peter, Abbie’s brother, is very confident and popular in middle school. This book is mainly about a girl named Abbie and she is going to outdoor school for a week and she has to figure out some problems that she has. The thing I like about this book is there are pictures on most pages so you can imagine what is going on. I also like that each chapter has its own little story, but all together they form the main idea of the book. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes problem solving and is interested in reading a book that is halfway between a graphic novel and a regular chapter book. But they came on Monday at the start of the week. But Greg's family hadn't even started to pack up, so then the movers had to help them pack up, but the movers weren’t actually packing up they were taking the glasses and the plates and sweeping them into the box while the plates and glasses were shattering into pieces. Greg's family didn’t want their hot tub so a crane truck came and was pulling the hot tub off the deck, but while they were doing that this guy came and thought all of the family’s furniture was put out for a yard sale, so now all of their furniture was getting taken away by the guy. The guy forgot to take their coach so the crane truck ran it over. It was a disaster that day. Read the book to find out what happens! It's a great book for any fan that has finished the Big Nate series and wants more of this amazing author. The book is about a kid named Max that lives with his uncle, who is a troubador. They live in the middle ages. They find the kingdom of Byjovia that has an evil king that rules by brute force. Max assembles a group of kids to take down the evil king! They go into the forest to train and try to find a way to defeat him. On the way, they stumble across zombies, dragons and more. It's a funny adventure story and teaches the important lesson of the good things that happen when kids work together to overcome a challenge. Recommended by J.S. The book “Dog Man” is by Dav Pilkey. If you love graphic novels just like me then I recommend Dog Man. It is really funny and has cool illustrations. It starts with a dog named Greg and a police officer who were trying to defeat a bad guy. But then there was a bomb with two wires. they were red and green. They had to choose one to cut so the police officer asked the dog which one he should cut. The dog said "grrr." Green it is then so he did it. After the bomb blew up the cop realized dogs were color blind. When they were at the hospital the doctor said “I'm sorry but your body is dying Greg and your head is dying too cop”. Then the nurse lady said “I have an idea! Why don't we sew Greg’s head onto cops body!” And so that is what they did. And it was true. Dog man has the advantages of both man and dog. In Space Case there is a boy named Dashiell Gibson and a murder. A man named Dr. Holtz got murdered, and Dashiell is bored. So what does Dash go and do? He decides to investigate. Now it is up to Dash to solve the case and find the murderer without getting hurt. I like this book because it has adventure and mystery and science fiction. I think lots of people will like the Moon Base Alpha series. Recommended by M.F. The book Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Old School by Jeff Kinney is a very good book for most third, fourth, and even fifth graders - maybe even teenagers. This book is a satirical fiction comedy book. The book is about a middle school kid named Greg Heffley, and he was going on a field trip to a place called Sila Scratch Farms If you had to ask he is more of a home person not a school or field trip person but the field trip was optional. There are reasons why he went. The first reason is his rule breaking grandpa was in town and the second reason why is he clogged the whole sink and he did not want to get blamed for that. I recommend this book to other people because it's funny and made me laugh! Recommended by H.D. |
